A couple of days before the reunion events began, the reunion committee visited Veronica Carter, our class advisor, at Pond Home in Wrentham. Although she will be 107 years old in January, she is still alert and well. We spent about a half hour with her and brought her some flowers in our class colors of red and white, on behalf of the Class of 1964. Here are a few pictures from our visit, and there's a possibility that some video will appear at some point; so check back.
This picture (taken by one of the staff at Pond Home) and the comment below appeared on their Facebook page; they got a better shot of the five of us, including the front of our yearbook.
Four of the members of the Oliver Ames High School Class of 1964 came by to have their own 50th reunion with their class advisor, Pond Home resident Veronica Carter. Veronica gave them a warm welcome. One of the ladies shared that Mrs. Carter taught her typing and she made her living using that skill!
